Regent’s IB diploma class of 2017 celebrate success

Students from Regent’s School have been celebrating their International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma results for achieving an impressive average score.

We are exceedingly proud of our students’ performance and we wish them a successful future.

University presentation for IB students

On August 24, Dr. Justin Cowan, University Adviser at Regent’s International School, Bangkok, welcomed Candy Chouk, Associate Director of the City University of Hong Kong (sometimes called CityU), to the school to give a short presentation.

Students were introduced to the many joint Bachelor’s degree programmes offered by CityU, ranked in the top 10 universities in Asia. The programmes provide students with the opportunity to spend two years at CityU and two years at one of their partner universities, including:
-Columbia University, USA
-National Taiwan University, Taiwan
-Leuphana University, Germany

Dr. Justin Cowan, believes that Hong Kong can be an excellent place to study. It is one of the world’s safest cities and it offers a vibrant academic environment.

Associate Professor Dr. Virachai Techavijit and Khun Kwanshanok Techavijit were honoured to be interviewed by Hello Education Magazine. They talked about their dedication to keep the good reputation of Regent’s International school.

After a remarkable teaching career in the United States, the founder and chairman, Dr. Virachai, decided to run an international school in Bangkok with the objective of improving education in Thailand. To perpetuate the good standards of Regent’s, the school director, Khun Kwanshanok always has a particular focus on understanding the demand of students and parents.
Our students’ academic excellence has allowed them to study at world class universities including University of Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, UCl, Imperial College, Cornell, Chicago, UCLA and Stanford University.
