The third week of our UK Experience programme was a more relaxed week where students spent time at the boarding house with their new friends. The boarding staff organised a special disco night, games night and movie night at the boarding house. During the weekend, with a much clearer weather, students went to Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park and also did some more sightseeing in London.
Our UK Experience students are having a lot of fun! During the weekend they visited Cambridge and enjoyed an educational trip to Science and History Museums. The springtime British weather was typically unpredictable with pouring rain all day and then hailstorms. However this could not stop the children from having a good time. When the weather cleared up they toured Abbey Gardens, shopped at Bury St. Edmunds and even enjoyed some Thai food.

It is the first week of the 2017 Regent’s UK Experience Programme and it’s a delight to see how the students have settled down and adapted to the new school and new people.
Within the safe and supervised environment of Barnardiston Hall UK our students have made good friends, settled down in their dormitories and toured around the campus. To make the students more comfortable each one of them have been assigned a ‘buddy’ who is a student at Barnardiston. This is an excellent way for our students to get to know the school so it feels more like a home away from home. Over the coming weekend students will be having their first trip around the area; they will be visiting Cambridge and Colchester zoo.
