2T Class Assembly

2T were captured by the evil Darth Vader and stranded them on the death star. Being May 4th, they used the force to bring their car that they made in DT to the death star and the fairy made it real and rocket powered too! After they escaped, they had to find their way back to Thailand. They landed in rainy England where Mary Anning and her dog helped them along their way. They then met Woody and a very sad Buzz. Luckily, the children had written letters to persuade Woody to be nice so this cheered Buzz up and he took them to the next part of their journey. Here they met The Snail and The Whale who helped them to surf their way back to Thailand! After an amazing journey the children discovered how well they worked as a team and were very proud of what they had achieved this year!

Primary Cricket Workshop

Regent’s were very lucky to welcome England Cricket legend Mike Gatting to school last week. Mr Gatting was captain of the England team for twenty-three Test matches and is  known and respected as a cricketer throughout the world. Our Year 2 and Year 4 students received a special lesson from Mike, where they learnt how to improve their fielding and batting skills, crucial to any striking and fielding game. They were led through a circuit of activities where they were shown how to improve their skills in throwing a ball, hitting a target and catching a ball from different heights. Students are very excited about putting his coaching tips into action next term.
