New Year, New Term, and some New changes…
Over the holidays we reconstructed the Primary Building Foyer and Early Years indoor play area. We also added more role-play outfits and toys for Early Years.
Our Early Years and Primary Sports Day were filled with energy, cheering and great team spirit. The winning trophies were awarded to Red House in Early Years and Green House in Primary.

We really enjoyed watching and listening to children from Reception playing instruments such as the piano and violin at the Early Years and KS1 musical recital this afternoon. We enjoyed looking at the suits of armour on display in the Knights Room too.
The Reception children are having fun playing in the new Early Years role play hospital. They are enjoying pretending to be doctors, patients and nurses and it is helping them to learn more English as well as to interact cooperatively with their peers.
Parents and visitors enjoyed watching over 30 children perform as part of our annual Music Recital. The children from both Primary and Early Years played various musical pieces on the piano, violin and flute. It was a wonderful experience for all involved. Many thanks to Mrs Lyng for organising the event and to the children for all their hard work and practice.
