Congratulations to Darun Jullakaparon (FinFin) in Year 2, Ava Dandumrongsuk (Ava), Phupa Saelim (Phupa) and Anyarin Bijaphala (Anya) in Year 1 at Regents International School, Bangkok. All have won the Yamaha Gold Prize and passed the Yamaha Kid Idol (5 -8 category) on 27 October 2018.
Congratulations to Arlene Karnjanaphan (Remi) in Year 12 at Regent’s International School, Bangkok. Remi has been accepted into the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra aged only 16, making her the youngest member of this professional orchestra. Remi has been given seat 3 of 9 in the cello section putting her above several cello teachers in the Bangkok area. Her selection is a unique and amazing achievement.

Regent’s community was truly united in celebrating our ‘International Ghosts Halloween Party 2018′. The event was hosted by the Regent’s Parents’ Association and supported by our parent community. All students from Pre-Nursery to Year 13 were able to enjoy the activities and games which included a freaky ‘Haunted House’, and the auditorium was a buzz of excitement and fun.
The students made a huge effort with their outfits to enter the costume competition – congratulations to the lucky winners! We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to all those who helped to make this event such a huge success.
Congratulations to Thannapas Luanpitpong (Xinxia) in Year 4 at Regent’s International School Bangkok. She has just won the Gold Prize in Piano Solo (Under 9 category) at the Yamaha Music Thailand Festival.

Record numbers of prospective parents and students attended the Early Years, Primary and Secondary Open House at Regent’s International School Bangkok on Tuesday, 23rd October 2018.
Visiting families met with the Principal, the Heads of the Schools and many teaching staff. There were tours, music recitals, presentations and activities for all ages. Parents Dr. Smith Arayaskul (Dr. Oak) and Khun Atthaporn Theemakorn (Khun Noom) also spoke to primary families about their reasons for choosing Regent’s.

Regent’s International School Bangkok, a British day and boarding school for students ages 2-18, was recently represented at the Education Fair at the Eden Zone in Central World.
Talented Regent’s singers and other musicians performed in front of a very enthusiastic audience. Well done to everyone involved.
Regent’s International School, Bangkok is invited to attend the Round Square International Conference every year. This is a truly global event where hundreds of student and staff delegates meet and challenge themselves through numerous activities and stimulating talks. This year, the conference is taking place in Ontario, Montreal and Ottawa in Canada.
Our delegation of Sunny Park (Y12), Xinxin Monthong (Y12) and Faaiz Akbar (Y13) have been assigned to Appleby College in Ontario and will be accompanied by Aina Rakotonirina, our Round Square Coordinator and Peter Hogan, our Principal.
Before the conference students will attend a pre-conference trip hosted by the Athenian School in San Francisco, USA.
