Apple from Year 5 won the Little Miss Universe 2017 title

Congratulations to Apple our Year 5 student who has been declared “Little Miss Universe 2017”. She is the first Thai candidate to win the competition.
Apple represented Thailand in the competition that was held in Georgia earlier this month after taking part in Prince and Princess Thailand 2017. At the competition she also won the title of “Best Costume” and “Little Miss Model”.
We are delighted by her success. She is truly a global champion!

Alumni Success Stories – Hayk Harutyunyan

Hayk graduated from Regent’s International School with IB Diploma in 2004.  After receiving his degree with honours from Cambridge University, Hayk worked in the Ministry of Defense in Armenia. He quickly moved up his career ladder; one promotion led to the other and finally in 2014 at the age of 28, only 10 years after he left Regent’s, he was appointed the Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Armenia. We wish Hayk good luck for his future plans.

Music Scholar, Prair wins a ‘Gold Award’

Music Scholar, Prair delighted her audience many times with her skills on the piano and strong vocals. She will be completing her IGCSE Music exam by next month under the guidance of our Head of Music. With her dedication and extra tutoring by Yamaha Music school she recently received a “Gold Award” certificate from the singing competition (12-15 Yr.) sponsored by the Office of the Private Education Commission. Congratulations Prair and best of luck for your examinations!

Year 6 students at FOBISIA maths tournament

4 Year 6 students recently took part in the FOBISIA maths tournament in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The competition involved all of the top British schools in Asia.

They worked incredibly hard over 3 days and all received medals and a trophy.  Well done to Gutji, Ileen, Mitti-O and Santa!

Eagle performed in Lumpini Park as one of Royal BSO finalists

Our student Eagle has received recognition at such a young age because of her beautiful voice and dedication. Recently she performed at the concert in Lumpini Park as one of Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra finalists. We wish her all the best for the final competition round.

Students Bell, Benz, and Kitty take the cheer-leading trophy home again!

Our students Bell (Year 7), Benz (Year 8), and Kitty (Year 9) took the cheer-leading trophy home again! Together with their team they won a gold medal at the Thailand Cheer-leading Championship 2016.

Proud (Y7) represented Thai youth at Children’s International Summer Village

On Dec 6, 2016, Proud from Year 7YH received a certificate from Pol.Gen.Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Social Development and Human Security Ministry for representing Thai youth at Children’s International Summer Village. She was with 15 other students who represented their own country at Vestfold, Norway during July.

Jenny Ham collects her winner’s cup

Music scholar and  talented golfer Jenny Ham has proved her abilities  yet again. She won the first Truevision Singha Junior Golf Tournament of the season and was presented with the Best Player of the Year Award on the Truevisions Tour Circuit for 2015-2016. Also she collected her winner’s cup in the 8th Albatross International Golf Championship 2016 in New Delhi.

Music scholars win a prize at the Beethoven Competition

Congratulations Ariya and Chawin! These very talented music scholars took part in the Last Beethoven Competition and won the 2nd prize in the Piano (Group A) section and 2nd prize in the String (Group B) section respectively.

This competition was established in 2007 to create a platform for Thailand’s young string players and pianists. The Goethe-Institut has established wide international network and gives the individual artists a great opportunity to showcase their talents.
