Reception practice writing by writing magic potions!

During Book Week Reception enjoyed reading “Room on the Broom”. We had great fun writing our own recipes to make our own magic potions. We mixed together fire, some of the hair belonging to the witch and even dragon’s poo!

A wonderful way to practice writing and engage our imaginations!

Early Years Story Club

The children in the Early Years’ Story Club have been exploring the story of ‘The Rainbow Fish’. After listening to the story, the children thought about how kind the rainbow fish was and ways we can be kind to others. The children then worked together to make their own Rainbow Fish which is now displayed in the Early Years building. Please do come and have a look at the children’s wonderful creation! Reception Maths Workshop

Miss Helen hosted a very successful maths workshop. The presentation was about how the maths curriculum is covered with in class also how parents can support their children at home.
Miss Helen invited parents to her classroom, where she had set up maths activities.
Thus parents were able to see more practical activities – it was a very informative afternoon.

Look out for more workshops in the future – we hope you can continue to join us!
