Students at Regent’s recently enjoyed a visit from Olympic and Commonwealth swimmer James Goddard. James has competed in 3 Olympic Games and gained medals at nearly all major championships including gold medals at Commonwealth and European Championships, and the World Championships. James shared his wealth of experience with the Primary FOBISIA team, Year 10 students and some of the top swimmers from Key Stages 3 and 4.  James also discussed his experiences going to the Olympic Games and what it took to get him there. He talked about the determination and effort that swimming at this level required and the benefits of having good teammates. “Never give up on your dreams because anything is possible with a positive attitude and work ethic” was James’s parting remark.
