On Friday 23rd February a group of Year 7 students visited the Primary school for a question and answer session with Year 6 about their transition to the Secondary school. They answered questions about teaching and learning, extra curricular activities, break and lunch times as well as rewards and sanctions. The Year 6 students had many questions such as “What are the main differences between Primary and Secondary?”, “What kind of activities are offered after school?” and “What subjects do Secondary students study that we don’t study in Primary?”

Overall, the session was very informative, with the Year 7 students giving some excellent, detailed answers. We hope that the year 6 students are looking to visiting the Secondary school in the coming weeks for Transition Day, when everything they heard about in this Q&A session will really come to life!
